Keep it up!!

Yup, great work, I'm a little surprised that my FPS range from 35-50FPS......but after all you're using highly sampled shadowmaps and dynamic geometry with soft render-to-texture shadows I suppose in contrast to the less intensive and cleverly implemented lightmaps and static geometery as before, then I was scoring 141-200FPS+. @ 1024x768, all eye candy enabled........same settings. Hm.

Well, this technique is a good deal more expensive than than one. The previous one only needed to sample a two lightmaps and interpolate. It's essentially no work and hardly any more expensive than regular lightmapping. This technique on the other hand require three passes to get the shadows right and needs extensive sampling for the blurring.

It looks majorly fudged on 5950. So fudged I can't even try to describe the situation.

It partialy works if you turn off dynamic lighting on an GeForce FX. Static Lighting seems to work.

Looks good

With a GeForce 6800 GT and the dynamic light on it's totally screwed up. Everything is all grey and just weird looking. Hard to describe. If dynamic light is off then it renders something that looks ok (im sure its not what it's intended to look like) and it then runs around 200fps.

It's also a mess with my 5900XT
Humus: It looks like it renders the depthbuffer to the screen!?

If I only enable static-lighting it partially works, although some of the lightmaps are culled away when you move towards/away from them.

Besides that, thanks for being such a huge inspiration!
