Your site is a great store house of knowledge, and I've learned a LOT from here.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks Humus for the shader demos (GLSLANG,etc)
They allowed me to test new driver releases. These drivers today, they break old stuff when they add new stuffs.. sigh... very useful for determining whether to upgrade or downgrade drivers.

I've tried out the GLSL demos on an nvidia card. It works but something like fire did not show up like your screenshot . Thanks Humus for these demos, now I can use them to gauge new driver releases whether they complie with OpenGL.
Why does games use shaders so heavily?. I look at recent bug releases of today's driver, they are mostly shader related. With each release, they fix some shaders & break other shaders

About the missing fire on nVidia, I'm aware of this problem, though I'm not aware of what's causing it. It's the last thing I expected to break in the demo. All the fancy GLSL shader stuff works fine but not plain textured quads.

possibly you forget to disable some shader stuff correctly for it? i don't know. but if it's the only thing that does not use shaders, and it's the only thing that fails, then it's some state-changing bug. eighter by you, or nvidia.
