New hair simulation demo

A new demo is up with some hair simulation. A balloon head is bouncing around throwing the hair around as if it was a shampoo commercial.

Was going to comment on "schampoo commerical??" - but schampoo seems to be a legit german/swedish? word.

R2VB again and again

sqrt[-1] it's a typo, shampoo w/o "c".

Fixed.
Yeah, it's spelled with a "c" there as well in Swedish. Apparently not in English.

Well since you're accepting spelling/typo corrections:

commercial

Just needs to simulate 'body' (no, not that kind) and maybe some friction and you practically have real hair! Very nice.

Basicly its very cool . But to look really great, there are a lot more hairs needed and a "cool" Shader.

Btw. The background is scary.

Haha!
Thats one funny demo Humus!

Hmmm, I find the face somehow scary too!
Hair physics is very well done. Gotta love the GPU's of today!

Can you make it nvidia compatible?

I haven't been able to run either of your demos yet (I'm fairly certain R2VB doesn't work on an ATi Rage Mobility Pro :-D) but it seems like both InfTerrain and the hair demo just modify positions of vertices. If that's the case, have you thought about an idea like this to include extra data in the vertices like normals and such: http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=385509
