Speaking at Siggraph
Thursday, August 2, 2012 | Permalink
Siggraph is around the corner, and I'll be speaking. Several times actually. I'm talking on the subject "Creating Vast Game Worlds - Experiences From Avalanche Studios" on
Sunday and then again as a Studio Talk on
Tuesday. Then I just accepted to join the "Advances in Real-Time Rendering in Games" course on
Wednesday, although my talk has as of this writing not been updated on that page. The title will be "Graphics gems for games: Findings from Avalanche Studios".
If you're going to Siggraph, don't miss these talks.

I really enjoyed your AA techniques talk at Nordic, so I'm sad I'm going to miss this. Will you be recorded?

I think so. AFAIK all talks are always recorded.

@Humus
Why are any your demo "tessellation hardware" (DX11 or OpenGL) not released yet about few years?? Due to your AMD-ATi card disappointed/weakness for tessellation?
PS: I'm very happy for GTX 480 gets impressive on tessellation!

OOH! Sorry because my double post is bad. But I pressed "update" button using browser = your site is bug.

Great site, great framework.
I noticed you mentioned playing around with compute shaders. I'm a big fan of your simple interface design, would be great to have compute shaders included in the framework.
